Terms of Service
These terms apply to axleno.com and to software sold by Axleno LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Axleno”, “we”). By buying, downloading or using our software you agree to them. Some products (such as Hanuq and Kobiqo) have their own terms on their websites; where they do, those terms apply to that product.
1. Bytewell license
Bytewell has a free version and a paid Pro license. When you buy Pro, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, lifetime license to use Bytewell Pro on the Macs you own or control, including every future update we release. A business may buy one license per person who uses it.
You may not resell, share publicly, or redistribute your license key, or reverse engineer, modify or bypass the license check, except where the law gives you that right regardless of these terms.
2. Free trial
Pro can be tried free for 14 days without an account or payment details. When the trial ends, the free features keep working.
3. Payment
Prices are shown before checkout and are one-time payments unless clearly stated otherwise. Payments are handled by our payment provider, which may act as the reseller (merchant of record) and will show its name on your receipt and card statement. Taxes are added where required.
4. What Bytewell does to your files
Bytewell analyses disk usage and, only after you confirm (directly or through an AI assistant you connect and approve), moves selected items to the macOS Trash, where they can be restored. It never empties the Trash. Optional Autopilot, if you turn it on, moves only old, automatically rebuildable caches. You are responsible for reviewing what you move and for keeping backups of important data.
5. AI assistants
If you connect an AI assistant (for example through MCP), it acts on your instructions. Bytewell applies the same safety rules to it as to you, but you remain responsible for approving its actions.
6. No warranty
The software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Axleno is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from the use of our software or website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product in question. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Changes do not take away a license you already bought.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, except where your local consumer law requires otherwise.
